Expressing the sorrow of the dying Christ, yet at the same time triumphant and glorious, the hymn of the week, "Hallelujah, What a Savior" at once shows the pain and sorrow of that death, and exaltation, as Jesus Christ conquered sin and death.
Sing this hymn often this week. Meditate on it and know the Jesus died for me and for you. We deserve death, He gave us life. We deserve hell, He gave us heaven. As you sing this hymn, let the power of these words bring you to Christ. For in Christ, our suffering Savior, we find forgiveness, joy, and God's grace.
