"This is My Father's World, and to my listening ears, all nature sings and round me rings the music of the spheres." Our hymn this week was written by Maltbie Davenport Babcock, who spent much time in the beauty of nature, announcing he was going out to see "My Father's world." It would seem, then, that this is a hymn about the glory of creation, but rather, it is a profound hymn of praise to the Creator. All nature points to our Creator, Savior God, who "will be satisfied, and earth and heaven be one."
